Is your excavator cylinder always broken? See if you are making these five mistakes.

The oil cylinder of the excavator attachment is not retracted and travels

When the excavator attachment (working device) is not fully retracted, it is easier to hit obstacles, causing a large load on the cylinder piston rod, resulting in damage to the interior of the excavator cylinder anhen operating an excavator, don’t try to “save trouble”. Excavate with the help of walking force, especially when the forearm oil cylinder is about to be retracted. This will not only damage the excavator’s forearm cylinder, but may also cause other bending.

When using an excavator for crushing operations, the crushing operation should be carried out according to the performance of the excavator. Do not overload the crushing operation for a long time. This will cause high-frequency vibration of the piston rod of the excavator and excessive force, resulting in bending and fracture of the piston rod.

The excavator cylinder rod stretches to the limit

Do not attempt to extend and retract the hydraulic cylinder of the excavator to the extreme position for digging. This may cause a large load on the oil cylinder and frame, and the bucket teeth and each shaft pin will also have a relatively large impact, which may cause damage to the interior of the cylinder and affect the normal use of other hydraulic components.

Excavation work using the self-weight of the excavator

When the operator is working, do not use the weight of the excavator body itself for excavation work. Once the operation is wrong, the body of the excavator will suddenly fall, resulting in a large load on the bucket, counterweight, frame, slewing bearing, etc., resulting in overall damage to the excavator.
